Why does Menomonie need a Dog Park?

A Dog Park would provide a Safe and Enjoyable Place for dogs to . play & exercise.
"Human Companions" could also get exercise and meet other dog lovers.
Currently, Dogs are Prohibited from ALL City Parks, even on a Leash!
Located near the Dunn County Humane Society, more traffic going past, could translate into more adoptions, and help with exercise & socializing.
People looking to relocate to another city, frequently ask if there is a Dog Park.
New Menomonie Dog Park Will Have:
~11.5 acres with 5 acre enclosure for smaller dogs
~6' chain link fencing & double entry gates
~Special personalized pavers in the entrance
~Rules & s regulations for safety reasons
~A parking lot (may need to be in Phase II)
~A water spigot (Phase II)
~A walking path, benches, etc.
